Congrats on the new vehicle. To tow your Sea Ray Boat with your 2019 GMC Acadia SLT you will need a hitch receiver, wiring harness with a 7-way connector, a brake controller, and a ball mount with a 2" ball.
Let's start out with your hitch. I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 76023. This is a custom fit hitch that bolts directly onto your Acadia with included hardware. This is a Class III hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,500 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 675 lbs. This hitch attaches behind the rear bumper bar instead of beneath your Acadia's frame. This calls for a more difficult installation process but a better final product once installed. I have linked an installation video as well as a couple of pictures so you can see what the final look will be.
For your wiring harness I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector item # C56326. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Acadia's wiring harness, which is located behind the center of your rear bumper. The 7-way connector will then attach to the bracket on the Draw-Tite hitch item # 76023 with the Curt Mounting Bracket for 7-Way Connector Plug item # C67UR. I have linked an installation video.
For your brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action. It automatically adjusts the trailer's braking based on the deceleration of your Acadia. I have attached an installation video as well as a picture of what this brake controller looks like installed.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" Ball, a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop, and is rated for up to 7,500 lbs. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
I recommend you check your Acadia's owner's manual for towing capacity. Always remember that the lowest capacity component is what you want to go off of when using a hitch receiver.
