They do both fit your 2018 Chevy Silverado LT 6-1/2 foot bed truck. However, you are going to need the full installation kit to utilize the gooseneck rail. The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish item # C16400-204. This kit includes the custom fit bracket that attaches to your trucks frame.

I recommend adding an in bed 7-Way connector to your setup. The Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C56070 connects to your OEM plug, beneath the bed, and allows you to keep the 7-way connector on your bumper. This will provide an easily accessible connection point for your gooseneck trailer's connector.
