Helpful Expert Reply:
The Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56104 you referenced is not compatible with your 2017 GMC Acadia. There is not currently a plug-and-play option available but we do offer the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. This option is a splice in design but is only going to require a small amount of work more than the plug in harness to install.
