Thule Passage or OutWay Trunk Mount Rack for a 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring
Question:
What is the difference between TH910XT and TH45JV? Will they both fit my Hyundai Elantra Touring?

Both the Thule Passage Trunk Rack # TH910XT and the Thule OutWay Trunk Rack # TH45JV are confirmed to fit your 2009 Hyundai Elantra. There are a few differences to justify the price difference between the two.
The # TH45JV has an updated cradling system with 2 layers of cushioning to absorb road shock and absorb vibration as compared to the single layer of the # TH910XT. The # TH45JV also includes a cable lock to help secure the bikes to the rack and a lock to secure the rack to the car. The Th910XT does not come with locks The # TH45JV Outway is the absolute easiest and fastest to install because it uses only 2 retractable cables instead of the 6 straps on the Passage.
They are both good bike racks and are backed by the Thule Limited Lifetime Guarantee. The OutWay costs more and has more features. You can watch both attached videos and decide if the extra money is worth the extra features. My opinion is the OutWay's ease of install makes it the best choice by far.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Thule Bike Adapter Bar # TH982XT to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
