Replacing Peak Jump Starter Box That Displays LO After Charging To FL

My Peak jumpstarter is displaying LO. When I plug it in to recharge, it flashes FL. What gives?

I have seen this before, and it is time to replace your Jump Starter. I recommend going with a NOCO Boost X Jump Starter # NOC68VR as it uses a lithium battery that will outlast the lead-acid type battery that was in your Peak jump starter. This unit is smaller yet more powerful than the Peak unit you have.

What you are experiencing with your Peak starter is the battery has reached the end of its life. When you plug it into the charger it quickly goes to FL telling you it is fully charged. The problem is the battery can no longer hold that charge likely due to sulfated plates in the battery so once you unplug it will show the LO because the battery is unable to take the charge when it was plugged in.
