Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Install On 2012 Tiffin Phaeton
Question:
2012 Tiffin Phaeton QBH40 I want to replace the Fantastic fan in the galley area. It is a 3 speed model with wall control. I would like to install the #7350 model and my questions are: 1 Will there be any unusual installation issues encountered? 2 Will the existing wall control be able to be hooked up to work in conjunction with the remote? 3 Will any additional wires have to be run through the wall?

Expert Reply:
When installing the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" # FV807350 you won't have any out of the normal install issues. It will hook up to the current wires.
It does not have the ability to hook up to a wall control, it is controlled by a wireless remote that comes with a wall mount holster to keep it in a secure place that you can remove when you want.
As long as you have pre-existing wiring you will not need to run any extra wires.
