Install Video for 7-Way Adapter for Brake Controller for 2012 Chevy Equinox
Question:
Last year, I installed a Curt C57186 wiring harness and Curt C56094 wiring harness on our V6 2WD 2013 Chevy Equinox for pulling our utility trailer. Each of the 2 items had a video listed on their product pages showing how to run and connect the harnesses, and by putting the car on jack stands and watching the videos on my Ipad as I worked off my creeper, the job went like clockwork. The Equinox installation video on the C57186 was so detailed and concise that it even showed how to mount the circuit breakers under the hood, and how to hook up the wiring to the Equinox underhood electrical box in a very neat and almost hidden way. This year, my daughter bought a tear camping trailer to pull behind her V6 AWD 2013 Equinox, and I intended to follow the same videos to install the 2 wiring harnesses on her car. The product page on the Curt 56094 still has the video for installation on a 2013 Equinox right there on the product page, but I cant find the installation video for installing the C57186 harness on a 2010-16 Equinox anywhere on the web site. Since Im 70 years old and memory-challenged! and cant fit under the Equinox without it being on jack stands, Id rather not have to jack up our Equinox to see where the wiring was run under our car, jack up and remove the jack stands and let it down, then jack up her Equinox and put it up on jack stands as well I only have 4 jack stands. Did etrailer really inch this video? I inquired earlier today, but just be certain Im asking once more if the answer is yesinch this time, I wont bother yall again. Or does it still exist in some rarely-used corner of the server? I was very disappointed that the installation video was no longer available, but I guess thats progress. sigh The plethora of videos is one of the reasons that I deal with etrailer almost exclusively for towing and trailer needs. Im a very repeated customer but I can no longer view all my previous orders on the web site anymore, either, and this is the first disappointment Ive experienced when dealing with etrailer. If I dont buy from etrailer, its only because you guys and gals! dont have what I need! Your customer service is A-1!!

So I cannot find any install videos for the # C57186 that you mentioned on an Equinox but I have a solution for you. I even check our YouTube account as we normally don't delete old videos from there like we occasionally will have to do on our website.
But what you can use as a guide is the install video I attached for the # ETBC7 kit which is very similar to the Curt kit installed on a 2012 Chevy Equinox for you to check out.
