What is Weight Capacity of Lock N Roll Coupler part # 336TS504

Question:

Sir, From what I can tell, all of the stress of towing is placed on a single bolt located on both the tow vehicle and the trailer hitch ? What material is this bolt? And with the hitch component able to swing, how is this bolt secured from coming out? A single lock nut? In addition, how is this system for long haul towing down the interstate compared to the standard using a ball? Also backing up straight up a driveway? Will the axle turn or winder more making it more difficult to back straight? Thanks

The pivoting bolt or pin that the Lock N Roll Coupler part # 336TS504 has is made from a hardened steel that as rigorously tested for capacity and found to be capable of handling up to 11,000 lbs of trailer weight and also meets SAE J684 towing safety regulations. A standard hitch ball uses a similar "bolt" if you will as the threaded portion of the ball that fits into the ball mount hole is a very similar concept.
