Curt E-Bike Rack Compared to Yakima Holdup Bike Rack

Question:

There are no reviews posted about this Curt bike rack. Many reviews on the Yakima StandUp. I would like some side by side comparisons please. Thank You

I am assuming you meant Yakima Holdup part # Y02443 as there isn't a Standup bike rack they offer. This is a pretty similar bike rack to the Curt E-Bike Rack part # C89JR in a few ways as they are both platform racks that use wheel mounts to secure the bikes. The Curt has a 65 lb per bike capacity whereas the Yakima has a 60 lb per bike capacity. The Curt is geared more for carrying e-bikes, or at least that's how it's marketed, but e-bikes almost always have front fenders which would interfere with the wheel mount of this rack. Now if the e-bike doesn't have fenders then that's not an issue at all.

The Curt is about 4 lbs lighter at 45 lbs compared to 49 lbs of the Yakima and also tilts down a little further so I would say it is the better option.
