Controller Styles For A Go Power Solar Elite Charging System
Question:
Why do you pit only a 30 amp controller that is not a mppt controller when your technicians have said in their comments that anytime you have one than 150 watts of solar panels you need a mppt controller. If I ordered the Elite system can I order it with the mppt inverter instead of the pwm one?

The Go Power Solar Elite Charging System - 380 Watt Solar Panels - 2,000 Watt Inverter Charger # 34282184 is packaged with a 30 amp PWM controller straight from the manufacturer, Go Power. The PWM controller will do the job, the MPPT style controllers are just more efficient once you start getting into the 150watt and higher range. To get the Go Power MPPT Solar Charge Controller # GP54FR we previously talked about you would have to purchase it separately.
