Weight Distribution Shank with More Drop for Pro Series System # PS49901
Question:
I just purchased the pro series 49901 w/sway control through etrailer and there is no ,the top of the ball is the same height as the top of the receiver opening even in the lowest holes. should I change the shank for a deeper drop and if so do you sell one?

Reese weight distribution shank # RP63971 has a maximum drop of 6-1/2 inches so if that is enough drop you can use it. If you need more shank # RP3344 has a maximum drop of 8-5/8 inches. The height adjustments are in 1-1/4 inch increments. I have included a link to our ball mount FAQ article that you can use to determine the drop you need.
