Recommended Suspension Enhancement For a 2007 Toyota Sienna That Sags When Hauling a Trailer

Question:

I have 2007 Toyota Sienna. Unloaded my hitch will drag in some situations. This is compounded when I have my trailer on. I would like to increase the height of the back end and stiffen the suspension to decrease sag with the trailer. What are your suggestions of what to use?

With the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1195R this will help to prevent your suspension from sagging as much when you have the trailer attached on your 2007 Toyota Sienna. While we do not have any suspension enhancement that is designed to raise your ride height of the rear of your Sienna, these may slightly raise the height depending on how much your stock springs have sagged over the 14-15 years old your van is.

To install these you only need to raise your rear suspension off the ground to insert the helper springs. The springs will not need to be removed.

You can add a roller like the Roadmaster Rollaway Trailer Hitch Protector # RM-050 that will allow the receiver not to drag on the ground. Instead the roller will roll preventing any damage to the receiver tube. This must be used with a class III, 2" receiver and it does hang down 3-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole. There are also the Ultra-Fab Steel Micro-Roller # UF48-979021 but it would need to be welded on. This roller is only 2-1/4" tall and you would be best to have 2 welded onto the cross tube of your receiver.
