Axle Solution for Trailer that Will Use Wider Tires and Jeep Bolt Pattern

Question:

Dear Etrailer, I have a problem! Perhaps you have a solution? i bought a small utility trailer to pull behind my Jeep. It has what I believe to be a 56 axle, springs at 46 ?. The trailer is 4 x 6. I want to use a set of Jeep Wheels that match my 2007 JKU 16 inch rims. The Jeep rim is way positive offset. To run these wheels and tires, I believe I need an axle about 18 inches wider to run these wheels that will still bolt to this 48 wide trailer.... OR I need to find a 16 extra Negitive deep dish wheels Thanks!

Timbren has their Axle Less kit part # ASR35HDS02 which you could use on your utility trailer. It attaches directly to the trailer frame and does not require matching the axle length and spring center dimensions. It has a 4 inch lift built into it and has a larger distance between the trailer frame and the spindle to allow for the use of wider, off-road tires.

Since the Jeep bolt pattern is 6 on 5.5 inch you'd want the hub/drum part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ and for brake assemblies part # 23-459 and # 23-458.
