The blinking 88 code on your Furrion RV Electric Fireplace with Logs - 30" Wide - Recessed Mount - Black # F30SW15ABL, or any other Furrion Fireplace, means that the blower fan is overheating. You will want to make sure the inlet and outlets on the fireplace a free of any debris and have proper air flow.

If you look at the front of the fireplace usually in the top left or right corner. You will see an opening with wire mesh around it. That is the Outlet.

The inlet will be on the top of the unit itself.

Once you have done this unplug the unit and let it sit for at least 15-20 minutes. This will reset the circuit board inside and let the unit cool down. Simply shutting the unit "off" will not be enough to let the internals "cool down" properly.

It may over heat if you are using it in temperatures lower than 40 degrees. This is because it will be running constantly and will have no time to cool itself down. It is recommend to be used as a supplemental heat source, not a primary one.
