Do I Have to Balance My Trailer Tires?

Do the 12 Tire and Wheel combos come PRE-BALANCED? Or is balancing required prior to installation? Thanks

Tire and wheel combos like the Kenda KR25 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Aluminum HWT Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range D item # AM31208HWT ones you were looking at do not come pre-balanced. Trailer tires are not required to be balanced and have to be taken to a special tire store that will balance trailer tires. Since the primary duty of a trailer tire is supporting a vertical load, rather than gripping like an automobile through turns, trailer tires do not have to be dynamically balanced like passenger car tires do. Steering and cornering are less of a concern on a trailer tire than they are on an automotive tire.
