Flat Tow Items Needed for 2016 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, two door and plan to pull it behind a class A. I have the Blue Ok hitch and RViBrake system. I need help on a reciever hitch for the Jeep and lighting/wiring kits. Can you make a suggestion? I then need to get the proper wiring kit so the RV lights are duplicated to the jeep’s lights. Want turn signals and brake lights to work on the tow vehicle. Finally, to power the BViBrake system, you typically plug into a 12 volt cigarette lighter. However, I understand that this requires the ignition to be ON ACC. Don’t want to do that. If you already have a Blue Ox tow bar then I suggest the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, # BX1126 for your 2016 Jeep Wrangler if you have the factory bumper.

For the needed wire solution, recommend the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles with 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord, # RM-152-98146-7.

The Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles, # RM-156-25 will take care of providing power to your supplemental braking system. This will require the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes, # RM-156-75 if your motorhome does not already have the line run to the back. Then you can install the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps
Item # RM-9332 to power the supplemental braking system you already have.
