Can Timbren Axle Less Kit Install on Aluminum Frame Trailer

Question:

Im looking at replacing a pair of very old and rusty torsion axles with the Timbren Axle-Less product. I will mating these to an aluminum beam. What do I use as a gasket between the steel Timbren product and the aluminum beam on my trailer? Secondly I will likely be adding the crossmember 2x2 beam and am wondering about calculating length? Do I just use the outside of frame rail dimension for the length of these?

You can install Timbren Axle Less kits like the part # A35RS545 on aluminum frame trailers but it would be recommended to use like a rubber spacer/isolator to prevent galvanic corrosion. We don't have anything specific we can recommend but you might check with a local welder to see what they might have. Outside to outside frame dimension would be all you'd need for a crossmember.
