Inside Span of Hooks on JIF Marine JIF53FR Gunwale Ladder

Question:

We have a fabric bumper on the inside of our gunwale. I’m worried that the hook will not fit over the top. Does it have some give in it?

The JIF Marine # JIF53FR Gunwale Hook Ladder hooks are stainless steel tubing covered by vinyl to prevent scratching the boat. The hooks aren't flexible.

The inside span of the hooks is 10-1/2 inches, so if the fabric potion of your gunwale can compress so it is thinner than 10-1/2 inches, the # JIF53FR ladder will work great for you.
