The Curt # C22HR and Draw-Tite # DT42MR are both very similar. Each is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a concealed cross tube. They have the same maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs and tongue weight of 900 lbs.

The main difference is that the Draw-Tite sits a little higher with better ground clearance. This does, however, mean that trimming of the fascia is required. The # DT42MR also comes with a bracket welded on for trailer wiring. Ultimately I would recommend the Draw-Tite for the clearance. If you would rather not do any trimming or cutting of the fascia, the Curt would be the way to go.

If you plan on doing some towing you will also need wiring to power your trailer's signal lights. For the most reliable option I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK59VR. This plugs into existing wiring, so no cutting or splicing is required. It will provide you with a 4-way connection at the back of your vehicle.

If you also need a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.

I have attached installation videos for the Draw-Tite hitch and wiring harness for your reference.
