Taller Fifth Wheel Hitch that Fits 2022 Ford F-350 with OEM Rail Kit

Sir/Madam: I have a brand new 2022 Ford F 350 DRW 8foot Bed 6.7 Powerstroke, Lariat, I recently purchased the Ford Legs for my Curt Q 25 hitch, and find that it sits much lower in the bed, or the bed is deeper. My problem is the Grand Design Solitude 372WB Pin Box, Lipert will not give me adequate clearance between bed rail and bottom of camper. Question: Will the Gen-Y Pin box eliminate this issue, have reviewed several post on You Tube and others and see that this appears to be a common issue. Is the Gen - Y the best solution? Thank You

The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 and 1621 HD # 325-GH-8040 that you referenced was not designed to give additional vertical height over a standard pin box so it would not necessarily be the solution you need. Instead you might see if you can lower your current pin box in the mounting brackets to give you additional height.

Or another option would be to go with a taller fifth wheel hitch like the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3300 which can be used at a height of up to 18-3/4 inches.
