Tips for Routing Brake Controller Wiring Through The Firewall on a 2010 Ford Flex
Question:
Where do you run the power wire from the battery to to unit through the fire wall

Going through the fire wall will either require finding an existing wire bundle that goes through the fire wall and using it or you will have to drill a new hole (careful not to drill through anything on the other side!) and then seal up the hole after routing the wires.
A lot of times, there are wires already going through the fire wall but from what customers have said in the past is that those locations are so tightly bundled that getting another wire through is very difficult. The quick and easy way in that case is to go ahead and drill.
