Yes, I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro Rack # TH934XTR for your 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. This will require a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11354 for the bike rack to fit into since there is not a truck mounted bike rack confirmed to work with your convertible. The rack is capable of supporting 2 bikes by their frame top bar. If you have an alternative type frame an Adapter Bar # TH982XT will be needed to secure the bike in the carrier.
I do recommend getting a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56380 so that you will be able to add the Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to your bikes. This is needed since the bikes will impair the clear view of your tail lights on your Beetle.
