Recommended Snow Tire Chains For 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willys With 255/75-17 Tires

Question:

2021 Jeep Wrangler Willy’s. Trying to find out if snow chains are needed on all 4 tires? Even if not using 4wd? And what chains are recommended?

You will want to double check, but according to my research your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willy's has 255/75-17 tires. According to the owner's manual, traction devices should only be used on the rear wheels. They also say only to use snow socks due to clearance, though some places do require snow tire chains. So you'll want to check your clearance from the top of the tire tread and the wheel well as well as between the tire's sidewall and the vehicle itself.

You may be able to use Class S chains if you have at least 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well, and at least 0.59" (15 mm) between the tire's sidewall and the vehicle itself. For that I recommend an option from Titan:

- Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link # TC2326

These are Class S chains that have a diamond pattern for the most tire coverage possible, as well as square links for optimal grip in both snow and ice. Just make sure you do have the recommended clearance though to avoid the chains hitting the wheel well or anything on the inside of the tire.
