Does the Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller Have to be Mounted Level to Function Properly

Brake controller setup/mountain On my prodigy P2 does it have to be mounted level to operate?

The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 does have requirements for mounting. The P2 must be mounted on a level horizontal (side-to-side) plane and must be lined up with the direction of travel for the internal sensor to function properly. As long as this is done it will function properly. I have attached a diagram showing this below.
The brake controller will function as intended even when traveling up and down steep hills since it has a 360 degree rotational range as long as you have mounted it as described above.
