Since your 2020 Chevrolet Equinox will require a Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to keep your batteries charged when you are towing this will involve some wiring on your Equinox to flat tow.
First you will need a 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7. This is needed so that you will be able to connect the charge line on your Equinox.
Rather than hard wiring in the lighting you can use the included pigtail from the Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights # TL21RK to attach to the vehicle side of the 6-way connector and then use the magnetic lights when you need to tow your Equinox. This will bypass any tail light wiring splicing on your Equinox.
