For a great engine oil cooler for your 2017 Ford F-150, I recommend the Derale Plate-Fin Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Spin-On Adapter (3/4-16 Threads) # D15451. This cooler includes all hardware needed for installation and cools your engine oil as much as 50 degrees for optimum temperatures while towing.
As far as installation, there are different options where you can mount the cooler. I went ahead and attached a picture from the manual showing you the best locations to install.
It is important to note that # D15451 only fits the standard engine block oil filter landings that range from 2-1/2 inches to 3-1/2 inches. If your F-150 has different landing dimensions, feel free to respond to this answer with your dimensions.
