What Do I need To Get A 7 Way Trailer Plug For Using A Brake Controller On My 2022 Hyundai Palisade

I need to upgrade my 4 flat wiring harness to a 7 way plug as the new camper I am looking at will have an axle with electric brakes. I know I need a brake controller and will be going with the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty RED24FR, but what else do I need to make this work? Thanks for your help.

To start with, the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR comes highly recommended and will definitely suit your needs well. I really like that only the adjustment/manual override knob will be exposed once installed and a Redarc controller would be the way I would go if I needed to install a controller on my truck.

With that said, you will need a couple parts to get it up and running. First would typically be a 4 Flat, like the T-Connector # CU94FR, but since you already have one, you can skip right to the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This will piggyback off your existing 4 Flat and get you the 7 Way plug you need. It will include all the wiring, circuit breakers, and brackets needed to get it working as well. The Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro # RED69FR will attach the wiring to the back of the # RED24FR controller. I included an install video of all these parts being installed for you to check out as well. It will make the install a lot easier.
