The # BWRVK3050 you mentioned is for a flatbed truck, and not something that will work with the for a standard 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 or 3500. For your truck with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1012, the correct Companion is the other option you mentioned if you have a long bed (8 ft) or the sliding Companion for a short bed:
- Long Bed: B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3500
- Short Bed: B&W Companion Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3400
With either option, this is exactly what you'll need to tow a 5th wheel trailer with your 2012 GMC Sierra, and is considered by many to be the best 5th wheel hitch in the industry. The reason for that are its massive jaws and cushioned bushings which combine to give you a much quieter, smoother towing experience than lesser hitches.
