So it really just depends on the tow bar you have, as you would need an adapter for a Blue Ox tow bar to go with a fixed arm base plate, and the adapter only fits certain Blue Ox tow bars. The Blue Ox base plates only have removable arms, and the difference between it and base plates with fixed arms is the model of 2014 Ford Fiesta they fit.
Most people prefer the base plates with removable arms because they offer your vehicle a cleaner look when you aren't flat towing, as the arms won't stick out the front. But here is what you would need for your 2014 Ford Fiesta in terms of base plates and adapter.
Fixed Arms - All Models of 2014 Ford Fiesta
- etrailer Classic Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms # e98968
- Adapter for Blue Ox Tow Bar to etrailer Classic Base Plates # e98982 (Only works with Blue Ox Aladdin, Aventa II, Aventa LX, or Alexus tow bars)
Removable Arms - 2014 Ford Fiesta Non-ST Models - Without EcoBoost (Does not fit SFE package)
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2622
Removable Arms - 2014 Ford Fiesta, ST Models & Non-ST Models - With EcoBoost
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2650
The latter two will fit Blue Ox two bars such as the Blue Ox Alpha 2 # BX7380 without type of adapter.
