Recommendation for Improved Cab Clearance on 2021 Ram 2500

Question:

Good morning, I’m currently running the Anderson Ultimate hitch to pull my 39’10” Puma Extreme with my 2021 Ram 2500 4x4 Crew cab 6’4” bed with the frame mounted BandW turnover gooseneck ball. I love the Anderson but almost kissed the cab the other day. Do you have any products or solutions that would allow me to keep using this hitch setup that would also allow me to get that full 90 degree turn with my shortened so I don’t risk damaging either my truck or RV? I don’t have a puck system and I don’t want to bolt the metal rails to my bed floor. I’m open to other solutions. I don’t want to spend the money this time only to be unhappy and be back at square one so I figured I reach out to the professionals.

I do have a solution for you, it is the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider, # BWRVK3400-5W. This mounts to the bed of your 2021 Ram 2500 using the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch that you already have installed!

Your clearance issues will be eliminated using this hitch with a built-in slider. It has 1" Thick dual jaws providing 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact and less rattle. The gross towing weight is 20,000 lbs. with a vertical load limit of 5,000 lbs. The hitch height is 17" - 19" and provides a full 12" front to back of travel.
