Moving a Draw-Tite Act IV Trailer Brake Controller from a 1997 Ford F-150 to a 2002 Ford F-250
Question:
I currently have the drawtite activator 5504 hardwire to my 1997 ford f150. I would like to move it my 2002 ford f250 superduty that has a towing package. Since the brake contoller is now hardwired, how can I take apart the controller so I can install using the plug and play wiring adaptor/harness #3035-p?

All you will need to do is cut the wires as far from the controller # 5504 as you can (so you have plenty of wire left to butt connect to the harness). Then you will just move the controller and the mount over to the other truck, wire the controller to harness # 3050-P color for color (after cutting off the end that would plug into a controller) plug in the harness, and mount the controller.
