Would the Swagman XC Bike Rack Scrape the Ground through Dips When Installed on a 2010 Toyota Prius
Question:
With two bikes on this rack attached to the receiver hitch on my Prius WILL THE BIKE WHEELS DRAG ON THE GROUND WHEN I HIT A DIP IN A CITY STREET? I need the platform rack cuz I cant lift up the heavy step-thru touring bike I have bad shoulders Id like to know before I purchase the Prius tomorrow Hellllllllpppp!

As long as the dips you go through with your 2010 Toyota Prius are not too deep you should not have a problem with ground clearance with the Swagman XC Rack # S64650.
I attached a picture of this rack installed on a similar Prius as yours that a customer submitted to us and it appears to have a decent amount of ground clearance.

Lastly, you will want to consult your owners manual to determine if there are any limitations on carrying a bike rack with your vehicle.
