How Close Are the Safety Chains to Curt Echo on 2020 Subaru Outback

It appears to me from your video that the trailer safety chains could catch on the Curt wireless controller. Do you think that this is a problem?

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 mounts to the trailer connector. The location of the trailer connector on an aftermarket trailers hitch is up to the installer since there are no pre-welded brackets for this. For example, in order to attach a trailer connector to the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT73RR which is a fit for a 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon you'll need two brackets, the Curt No-Drill Bracket part # C57202 and Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware part # PK12711U. The Curt No-Drill Bracket can be positioned as close or as far away from the safety chains as you like so there will be no interference.
