Plug and Play Adapter for the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty on a 2022 Subaru Ascent with Tow Package
Question:
I have a 2022 Subaru Ascent with tow package. I was looking at the Redarc Liberty vs. Elite and want to use the liberty but I noticed the elite has a plug in option from the brake controller to under my dash and the Liberty has to be wired in. Is there a plug in option for the Liberty?

Yes, we have an adapter that you can use with the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR to plug in under the dash of your 2022 Subaru Ascent with tow package. You will want to pick up the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3062-P and the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter for Tekonsha Brake Controller Harness # 331-TPH-017. The # 3062-P adapter will plug into the Liberty using the # 331-TPH-017 and then into the port under your dash just like you were looking for.
You can also pick up the Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller # 331-TPSI-002 if you want to clean up the appearance of your control knob when installed.
