Recommended RoadActive Suspension Kit For A 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 With An In Bed Camper
Question:
I looking at adding the Roadmaster Active Suspension kit to my 2022 GMC Sierra 2500, but I saw 3 options available. Not sure which to go with and what the difference is between them. I will be putting an in bed camper on the truck so want to make sure i get the right part.

Though it will ultimately depend on how much your camper weighs and how much sag you experience, there are a few differences between the 3 options available for your truck. First is the # RAS3611.
This will have a 2,000 pound weight capacity and will be used in mild to moderate cases of sagging. With you having a Sierra 2500, I assume you will have a pretty heavy camper in the bed, so this may not be the best option.
With that said, we come to the # RAS3611-HD and # RAS3611-CHD. These are essentially the exact same parts and will have the same 3,000 pound capacity, but the # RAS3611-CHD is designed for trucks with factory top overload springs. The # RAS3611-HD will not fit trucks with this style of spring. Depending on which style you have on your truck, one of these will be the better part to go with.
