Recommended Gooseneck Hitch Ball Plate for Fifth Wheel Rails

Question:

I bought a 2006 F-250 which came with a Reese 14,000 fifth wheel hitch which adjusts front to back. I have no need for a fifth wheel but do have a need for a goose neck. Does Reese or anyone make a plate that would replace the top part of the hitch with a goose neck ball?

Helpful Expert Reply:

Since your 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty came with a Reese fifth wheel hitch we have something that will work for you. It is the Curt 25K Gooseneck Plate for Fifth Wheel Rails item # 16085.

All you will need to do is remove the fifth wheel hitch and attach this plate to the rails installed in the bed of your truck, with the included hardware.
