Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag System Compatibility for a 2001 Ford F-350 4-Door Dually 2 Wheel Drive
Question:
Will this work on 01 f350 4 door dually 2wd with tag trailer

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 will work on your 2001 Ford F-350 4 door dually that is 2 wheel drive. The air bags are adjustable from 5-100psi, which will allow for you to get your truck leveled and riding smoother with your tag trailer behind you. I have linked an installation video below on a 2004 version of your truck so that you can see the installation process and how they fit.
I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ. This will allow you to control the air pressure in the air bags from your smart phone with the Air Lift app. You won't have to worry about batteries or losing an additional controller or having to run air lines inside your truck for a gauge/switch assembly. Best of all the smart manifold monitors the air pressure for you and will automatically maintain the air pressure in each bag to within 3psi of your desired setting.
