Are SumoSprings Recommended to Reduce Sag on a 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 Towing a 5th Wheel

Question:

I have a 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 with factory puck system that I use to tow my 5th wheel trailer. When my 5th wheel is hooked up I am getting a good amount of sag. Do you recommend using the SumoSprings to help with this?

If you are getting a significant amount of sag when your 5th wheel is hooked up to your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 then I would absolutely recommend using the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-203-40-2 which are the correct helper springs for your truck.

The reason you want to use these springs is because when you have additional capacity in the bed of your truck and the back starts to sag, the front of the truck will also rise. When that happens, your truck won't handle as well as it should because the front tires are not making as much contact with the ground which impacts your traction and steering. What the SumoSprings do is take the brunt of that weight, cushioning the load and helping to level and stabilize your truck.
