Comparing Firestone Ride-Rite vs Red Label Air Bags For a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty Dually

Question:

What are the differences between the Firestone Red Label air bags that allows for them to have the 7500 pound weight rating and the 5000 pound Firestone air bags? I am looking to install some air bags on my 2022 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Dually Four Wheel Drive truck.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F95FV are built with commercial grade components that allow for them to achieve the higher weight capacity(7,500lbs) through a higher air pressure capacity(150psi). The rubber and cord gives the bags additional strength. Higher strength steel is used on the brackets and mounting hardware as well to account for the additional capacity.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2600 are only rated for an air pressure up to 100psi for a 5,000lb capacity and these will only fit on 2wd models.

To ensure that the Red Label kit will fit your 2022 Ford F-350 4wd crew cab dually you will need to confirm you have at least 7-1/2" between the outside of your frame rails and the inside of your inner tire.

The Firestone Air Command II # F2219 will allow you to individually adjust the air bags for uneven loads from your cab. The dual needle gauge will allow you to see what the pressure for each air bag is set to and make adjustments with the switches. The heavy duty compressor is capable of achieving the 150psi pressure that the air bags with the Red Label kit are capable of holding.
