Ball Mount Friction Sway Control and Ball Recommendations
Question:
Do you carry a plate with a small ball on each side for two sway bars? And does this plate have a 1 1/4inch hole for the shank on the ball-most Only have a one inch hole

Expert Reply:
We only have 2 plates like # RP26005 and they both only have one hole from the small ball on a friction sway control system. However, since # RP26005 is designed for smaller Class II hitches and ball mounts, if this is the size you need you only need one friction sway control system away. Two would be needed if the trailer weighed over 6,000 pounds or is 26 feet or more long. This will most likely exceed what any Class II hitch is capable of.
The ball hole diameter is 3/4 inches. You can use ball # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter or # 19258 for a 2 inch diameter.
For a 2 inch hitch and Class III ball mounts you would use # RP26003. It has a 1 inch ball hole. You could use ball # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch.
