How Does the Stromberg-Carlson RV Ladder Install to the Back of a Flat RV
Question:
How do I connect the lower two portions of the ladder without using bend s or do you need to install the s to connect both sections for a straight flat rv back. Instructions indicates to use if you have a bend in the rear back to use s. However, for a straight back instructions are not clear s need to used since the tubes are the same size and will not attach.

Looking at the instructions if your RV is straight up and down in the back you simply will ignore the bold part of step G. basically the ladder will remain straight up and down like in the picture I have included.
Basically you cut the the inner tube to length at the bottom, drill holes to reattach it to the upper portion and then the bends that curve in towards the RV get secured as per the instructions.
