Troubleshooting the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System on 2019 Dodge Ram

Question:

Seems were not getting enough any? brake assist even when brake pressure is turned nearly full up. When testing, I rode in my toad Ram and tried with and without engine idling. When idling, the system seemed to work fine and even sounded less labored when operating. I'm wondering if this system provides enough vacuum for the Ram. I'm pretty confident in my guys installation but, something is still not right. Anyone else have this problem?? Suggestions??

I contacted Tech Services at Roadmaster regarding your issue with installation of the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System, # RM-8700. Their suggestion is to check the placement of the bracket for the pedal, recommend that it be placed as low as possible and away from the pivot point of that pedal to provide the best leverage. They stated that this will help to not deplete the vacuum on the system as quickly. You will also want to double check the cable running through the pulley and to the pedal to ensure there is no binding. And lastly, check the vacuum line for leaks at the tee connection and through the firewall.
