Will The Taylor Made Dock Pro Heavy Duty Bumper Mount To A 4x4 Post
Question:
I see that these measure 5 inches wide . Is it possible to use this on a 4x4 post . I dont mind if it goes past post , just want to make sure I am able to fasten to 4x4

The Taylor Made Dock Pro Heavy Duty Dock Bumper - Edge Mount - 35-1/2" Long - White Vinyl # 36945500 does measure 5" wide with the mounting holes being approximately 1/2" from the edge. There is a rounded divot from the 1" mark to the 4" mark so if mounting this vertically I would also use some sort of rope or a large zip tie to prevent the wind from catching the portion that overhangs your 4x4 post and pulling on the screws.
