Air Helper Spring Kit for 2000 Ford F250 Compatible with PullRite Super Glide 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
I have a 2000 f250 4x4 with a pullrite superglide hitch with frame brackets. I need to install air bags to assist with the weight of 5th wheel. But the bracket for the 5th wheel pose a problem. What air bag set up can I install that won’t interfere with the bracket?

Firestone tells us that they have air helper springs for a 2000 Ford F250 that's compatible with most in-bed hitch systems, part # F2550. The mounting brackets attach to the inside of the truck frame member directly above the axle, so it shouldn't interfere with a 5th wheel hitch bracket that mounts to the outside of the frame member. I've linked to an install video as well as the installation instructions that show exactly how the air helper springs kit fits to the vehicle.
