Will the Timbren Springs # TFR1504D Fit on a 2011 Ford F-150 With Reese Custom 5th Wheel Brackets
Question:
Hi - Will the Timbren spring helper kit FR1504D, work without modification to install on a 2011 F150 4X4 crew cab 5.5ft bed that has a Reese custom rail kit RP56006-53 installed in it? The reason I ask is that the large side rail bracket mostly covers the outsides of the rails, and the top plate of this timbren kit has 2 tabs that face the outside. I am concerned that these 2 tabs will hit the customer bracket and so the bolt hole wont line up and it will not sit flush on the bottom of the rail. Can anyone confirm if these 2 kits work together? Thanks

The Timbren Springs, # TFR1504D, will work without modification on a 2011 Ford F-150 4X4 Crew Cab Short Bed with the Reese Custom Fifth Wheel Brackets, # RP56006-53, installed. The 2 tabs that you referenced install on the inboard side of the trucks frame (see photo), so they should not have any contact with the fifth wheel brackets.
The photo that I attached came directly from the installation instructions for the Timbren Springs, # TFR1504D, that you referenced.
