I spoke to ARC about their 7440/7443 LED Bulbs # ARC95FR, and it will get brighter when the brake signal is run to it. These really are used as brake lights in vehicles and or trailers, so they do have this function built in. Static, or running lights, will run at 300 lumen, but when the brake signal hits it, it will light up to 600 lumen.
