Coil Sumosprings to Address Rear End Sag on a 2014 Ford Expedition El 4x4

Question:

I have a 2014 Ford Expedition El 4x4 and tow a 2017 Keystone Cougar 26’ travel trailer weighing 6200 lbs. Tows very easily with no problems but I have vehicle tail sag more than I like no matter what chain or WDH setting it’s set at and I have tried every combination with my WDH and chain lengths. Is there a product that can give my rear suspension a little lift to get my headlights at the proper angle while towing?

The only suspension enhancement option we have for your 2014 Ford Expedition 4X4 is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension item # CSS-1168R. The wedge-shaped springs fit between the individual coils of your existing springs and help support heavy loads on your rear suspension like the ones you are experiencing. These are designed to keep your coil springs from fully compressing which will help level out your Expedition.

Thanks for the speedy reply, looks like a pretty straightforward installation and I will order them but after looking at the attached product info page showing the chart on which vehicles it works for it does not cover 2014 Expedition? It says 2018-2022 Expedition which is the newer eco boost motor body style. I chose the 2014 model because that was the year of the older larger frame and the last of the big V8 motors. Will it still work for the 2014 model. Thanks

@AlfredL Selecting the parts made for your 2014 was a good decision. However, I would have a trained RV tech check your WD situation. That is what it is suppose to do. I only use air bags and helper springs when a vehicle with NO trailer has a sagging problem.
