Replacement Cam Tightening Wrench for Laclede 3229 Chains
Question:
Hello. I bought these chains from a friend but he lost the cam tool. I see many different tightening tools available at your site and wanted to know if you could suggest a lower cost, or better, option than the $20 angle tool Leclede seems to use. Thanks!

I reached out to Titan Chain about using one of their cam tightening wrenches on your Laclede 3229 chains and they said you can use either the Replacement L-Shaped Cam Tightening Wrench # TCLH3 or the T-Shaped Cam Tightening Wrench # TCTH3. Personally I like the # TCTH3 because you can get better leverage and use both hands due to the T-design.
Titan Chain also mentioned that when using their cam wrenches with a different brand of chains you may have to grind the wrench down some to fit.
