Recommendation for Transporting 85lb Pedego Trike w/ Minivan

Question:

I have a Pedego tricycle. It is 30 inches wide by 72 inches long, weighs 85 pounds. Want to carry on back of my minivan whether rack or separate trailer. Since I am 65 it is hard for me to lift it. I want what is easiest at my age. Thanks for your help.

As of right now, none of the major bike rack manufacturers offer a rack option for a trike like yours, so the only option would be a trailer such as the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer, # K2MMT4X6. This is a 6' x 4' Utility trailer with a 1-7/8" hitch ball. This has a loading ramp tailgate and a tilt bed make loading the trike a breeze.

Now you'll need to make sure your Minivan has a hitch and trailer wiring installed. If you do not then just send me the year/make/model and I'd be happy to make a recommendation for you.
