Will Air Bags for a 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 Fit on 2022 GMC Sierra 3500.

Question:

Is the rear suspension on a 2022 Gmc 3500HD DRW the same as a 2018 .I have Air Bags on my 2018 and want to put them on a new 2022 DRW. Thanks

Although I do not know all of the changes in the rear suspension between the 2018 and 2022 GMC Sierra 3500, I can tell you that the fit will depend on the air bag. Some of the air bags that fit the 2018 are also confirmed to fit the 2022, some are not.

For example, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613 are confirmed to fit the 2018 and 2022 Sierra 3500. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57338 are confirmed to fit the 2018, but not the 2022. Since there are differences between brands, such as the installation process, changes from year to year for the truck may or may not impact how the air bags fit.
